My Tribute: My Nicholas went into the Army shortly after he graduated high school. He served 5 years in Infantry and deployed twice. Once to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. He decided to leave the Army in 2014 and until recently I did not know he suffered from PTSD. He masked the pain with Opiets /Heroine. I put him on a plane to visit one of his Army buddies who was no longer enlisted. On October the 1, 2015 he boarded a plane to Ohio and he overdosed on October 25, 2015. We buried him on
November 6, 2015. I went through the motions, but my heart will not accept that he’s gone. He’s the youngest of 3 sons and my heart aches daily for him.
I am heartbroken!! I am lost!!
