We should have a letter out (via email) within the next two weeks with details about the retreat. We will post everywhere when the letter goes out so those that don’t receive it can contact us. GRASP.

Hi everyone, just wanted to give you all an update on the planned 2014 retreat. We are struggling with funding for this event. The grant we thought we would receive, may now be reduced or not even be available.
The January date is now not possible and we are hoping for a March date. We will be sending out a survey to all of you shortly to determine the overall cost tolerance. Thanks for your interest GRASP/Broken No More.

    Hi Gary,
We were at the retreat I n Tampa and
we are very interested in attending the one in Palm Springs however we have a family member who works at the Marriott and can get us a cheaper rate if we stay at the Marriott.
We would still like to attend the discussions and join you all for dinner. Would this be possible and if so what would the cost be?

    Hi Gary,
We were at the retreat in Tampa and would like to attend the one in Palm Springs however if we find our own lodging could we still attend the discussions and have dinner with the group? If so what would the cost be?

Cheryl, Bob, great question. We are offering the Hyatt because the curriculum, reception and dinner will be held there. However, you and everyone are welcome to stay elsewhere. You would still have to register and pay the $100 registration fee. We are hoping to have the registration page up in 2-3 weeks.

If I am emotionally able, I think I would like to come. I’m in Southern Ca so it’s do-able for me. How soon do we have to reserve?

I would very much like to attend and am trying to plan for it, but cannot say 100% for sure yet that I will be able too yet. I hope to share a room with another. When is the deadline for reservations.

I would not miss the retreat for the world. In Tampa I first met Gary and Denise. I met Terry Dudar, Liz Perkins, Darleen, Barry and soooo many others who touched my heart, taught me something, made me cry, made me laugh… I urge everyone who can possibly attend to come. Support, healing, friendship, learning, crying, laughing – What all of us need.

I am interested in attending. Cost is an issue. I am a single mom. How do I find out about assistance with the registration?

We will have the retreat registration up in a week or two and will send out email notices to everyone when that happens.

We do have a limited number of scholarships available and will do the best we can to help those in need.

Hi Lisa, we are very close to going forward with it. I am hoping to have registration up by this weekend.

We have the hotel booked, however, we are going to ask that everyone hold off on booking air until we know we have enough participation that we would not have to cancel the event.

Thanks Lisa, we are working on it. Maybe a new location more centralized in the country. In any case we will be sending out a survey to find out what we need to do to get more participation.

    Hi Gary,
We just booked our flight for the re-treat and actually called the hotel to book a room under Broken No More and was told there are no more rooms for this group for four days. We booked as a regular room and they added in a footnote that we will be part of this group. I know that I did not register yet, but will be doing this in June. We are so looking forward to this retreat and meeting others!!!

Hi Lisa, great to hear you’re coming. I know we still have rooms available for the three nights, but you are OK with with those, right? For the extra night, you should try one of the many third party sellers like hotels.com and others. I’m sure there are still rooms available through those types of sites. Gary Cullen.

I would like more information to maybe attend next years function. I am interested in what is the purpose of the meeting? Teaching me now to save an addict I do not think would be useful. I am more interested in ways of moving forward and honoring my daughters life & trying to move past the death. I am sure I will cry but don’t want to go out of town to cry for days. Thank you for any information that you can give me for next year…I know it is early but I am hoping
    Thank you

I would like to attend (my sister and I lost our brother 7 months ago). As a mom of five, I will leave all but my 1 year old behind with my husband (we live just 2 hours south of Tampa so it’s a short drive away. Would that be okay? As a nursing mother I cannot go away from her for days. Thank you. Also, maybe a silly question, but if I find no rooms available and we needed to book at a nearby hotel, we would still be able to attend all conferences, correct?
