GRASP and its partners are providing your hotel room (two to a room), a Thursday evening reception, a group lunch on Friday and a group dinner on Saturday. The hotel provides free transportation between the airport and the hotel, and your room includes a buffet breakfast each day. Air travel and all other expenses will be the responsibility of each participant.

The retreat is now set. The registration form should be here on the website tomorrow, Thursday latest. The dates are March, 29 to April 1. It will be at the Double Tree By Hilton Tampa Florida. More to come in the next day or two.

Its two people per room. However anyone that wants a room to themselves we can accommodate that but would ask that they pay for half of the room cost or approximately $67.00 per night.

Terri, it will be two per room unless you need or want to have a room by yourself. If it is a need please let us know, but if it is a want then you will be responsible for half of the room cost. Approximately $69.

Hi, How late can you register ? I’m probably going to have surgery sometime after mid febuary and don’t want to mess things up. I am one of those lucky women who had a bladder mesh placed 4 years ago and now it has stopped working along with giving me infections. Hopefully nothing else will be found wrong ( AFTER LISTENING TO ALL THE LAWYER COMMERCIALS) . I may need a private room When it rains it pours! Let me know how long I have to register ! Kathleen, you can register as late as you want but you risk rooms not being available. I would suggest you make a call within 45 days of the event. The other is the longer wait, the higher the airfare might be.
For anyone asking for a private room, we are asking you to pay 1/2 the room cost or $68 per night, $204 for the three days.

We will have a much firmer agenda posted and a flyer available in PDF form in just a few days. We are focussing on what we have learned is most important to our members through the years and are including some new things as well. This promises to be a fabulous Inaugural GRASP Retreat with many more to come…Support, education, compassion and inspiration…. xo Denise

Terri, I will have the group pricing information Monday or Tuesday latest. However, Lynne Holley got a price of $76 on Easy Click Travel??? I know our group rate is about $125. I don’t know who Easy Click Travel is and I’m not endorsing them but that is a crazy good price.

Yes, you should contact the hotel directly for additional nights. The website is http://www.tampadoubletree.com. If you book through the hotel, mention booking code BRK to get the same room rate as the group. That being said, others are finding better rates through third party sites.

Does the hotel offer a special rate for an extra day for retreat/conference participants who may want to leave on Monday?

Darleen, yes the hotel is extending the group rate of $132 per night for 3 days before and 3 days after the retreat. That includes breakfast for two. However, I am finding out that others (like Lynne Holley “above”) are finding better rates on third party sites.
Thanks, Gary. I booked myself and guest into the Ramada Westshore Tampa Airport as they charged $55 for the double room incl breakfast and shuttle to airport. (The money saved on booking an outward flight the next day covered the cost of the hotel).
By the way, I booked that hotel through Expedia. It is located near our hotel for the conference.
I just learned about this event from my cousin and I want to thank you for the work you’re putting into this event. The agenda looks wonderful, however, I’m so sorry to say that I cannot make this as my mother and other relatives will be visiting us in Charleston that weekend to celebrate her 80th birthday. This has been planned for some time now. Please let me know how I can receive information/resources after the retreat.
